Graphic Arts has been around for over 25 years and has advanced with new technology several times.

Students learn how to use digital technology, find solutions to problems, and create amazing things using sources such as computers, printers, posters and a few new items added throughout the years.

Graphic Arts contains a set of classes that are connected to each other for different grade levels. This means Intro to Graphics is required before taking the other classes, but Intro doesn’t have any requirements for anyone wanting to join.

Intro to Graphics is one semester and Graphics 1 and 2 are both a year long.

Catherine Coddbower, teacher, feels this class is very helpful for teaching how to use new technology when getting a job.

Coddbower said anyone wanting to join the class can go to the Graphics room (room F112) or contact their counselor for more information.
