When Gloria Kirby and Jennifer Neally arrive at QHS in the morning, the two of them prepare for the day.

“When I get to QHS, I check my e-mails, have my morning coffee, unlock the locker rooms, and figure out the activities that will be played that day,” Kirby said.

Everyday brings different possibilities and different activities.

“I love to be active throughout the day especially during P.E.,” Kirby said.

Being in charge of so many students does have its downfalls.

“We may have to repeat ourselves here and there but that isn’t what our day mostly consists of. Our day consists of managing and organizing the activities the students will be played and what order they’ll go in,” Neally said.

No matter their schedule, there’s never a dull moment in P.E.

“I like being a P.E. teacher because I’m a very active person and it’s what I love to do. It’s a great experience to see the students grow in their physical abilities,” Kirby said.
