If you are planning to go into the science field as a career, the biomedical class is for you.
This research based class requires students to investigate a crime scene on a woman who dies.
Stephanie Peters, teacher, said students have to figure out what disease(s) she has and how she died. Students will also learn more about diabetes, the heart, infections, crime scenes, and how to problem solve.
To get into this class, you need to be in biology or have taken biology. Students interested in the class do not have to take it as a freshman but should if they are interested in taking all courses in the four year biomedical program.
Peters recommends students with an excellent work ethic and a love for science for this year long course.
