Commercial Foods is based around working professionally in the food industry.
Students learn to cook in large quantities and the class follows a “state-wide curriculum” Tina Kennedy, commercial foods teacher, said.
The curriculum is based around learning how to prepare large quantities of food for a large amount of people.
Students are hard at work preparing themselves to tackle two upcoming catering events using the skills they have learned.

Students in the class enjoy the curriculum and most do plan to go into the food industry.
