Hush is a 2016 American thriller film directed and edited by Mike Flanagan, starring Kate Siegel (Maddie), who also co-wrote the film with Flanagan. In this movie Maggie, the protagonist who has a hearing impairment, she retreats into the woods to live a solitary life and must fight for her life when a masked killer appears at her window.

Maddie was on FaceTime with her cousin Max (Sarah Graves), when the killer takes Maddie’s phone off the kitchen counter and leaves the house.

Later on in the movie, Maddie noticed the killer and panicked. The masked man started playing hard ball with her and she began to notice it.

At this point in the movie, Maddie was fighting for her life, doing everything she could to stay alive but it was no use. The murderer had breached the home. She did not know until it was too late.

Losing too much blood from the stab wounds and other battle scars, she fainted.

Maddie now knew exactly what she had to do and how to do it.

Given the suspense and fulfilling emotion of the movie, I would rate this a four and a half out of five.
